Edmund Stazyk is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Administration and Policy within the School of Public Affairs at American University. His research focuses on the application of organization theory and behavior to public management, public administration theory, and human resources issues. Professor Stazyk's primary interests are in the areas of organizational and individual performance with an emphasis on employee and public service motivation. He also conducts research in the areas of bureaucracy and organizational design, ethics, and human capital.
